Help
- Type your terms into the Search box.
- Toggle between Full-text search and Exact search options to the right of the box.
- Control the language of your results using the Language dropdown directly below the Search box.
- You may also search by WMO-No. or Session by using the respective fields below the Search box.
Tips:
- Filters on the right can be used to refine your search (e.g. by date range, specific year, serial title, number in series or bulletin issue, constituent body, authors, programmes, topics, country/region, etc.)
- Boolean operators (AND, OR and NOT) can be used to enhance your searches.

- Execute a more refined search by selecting options from the dropdown menu on the left, and combining it with Boolean operators “AND/OR/NOT” on the right.
- Add multiple search fields by clicking the “Add search field” icon at the upper right of the search box.
Tips:
You can use the following wildcards and operators to refine your search:
* any number of any characters (e.g. guid* = guide, guidance, guidelines, etc.);
if you type only * in the field, you will find all entries where this field is not empty
(e.g. when used in WMO-No. field, you will find all records with a WMO-No.)
(-*) use this operator to find all empty values of a field
- From the publication’s record, click on the link in the Download box below the cover.
- The file will be automatically downloaded.
Tips:
To access old versions of a publication, click on the links in Download Archives box, if available (please note that you need to be logged in to access this feature).
- First, make sure you have an account and that you are logged in.
- Make a search.
- From the search results list, click the star in the upper left hand corner of the desired publication:
- This will take you to “Add to My Collections.” Click “Create collection” (if you do not have any collections yet)
- Name your collection.
- Then click “Add to My Collections.”
- Your collections will appear in the “My collection” field in the Filters sidebar located on the right side of the search results.
- Make a search and click on the button
(you need to be logged in to access this feature).
- Click the "Add" button in "My Searches/Notifications" window that will pop up.
- Enter a title for your search request and indicate whether you would like to be notified of new publications added matching this request.
- Click "Add" and close "My Searches/Notifications" form.
Tip: To receive notifications of any new publications added to any collection in any language, select "Search" > "Simple" from the top menu, and then click on . Follows steps 2 to 4 above.
The e-Library has an in-built viewer which allows you to consult a publication without downloading it. The Viewer can be accessed on the publication record by clicking on the cover of the publication ("View" icon).
Change View: Changes your viewer preferences (Thumbnails, Facing pages, Picture, Book)
View Information: Provides metadata related to the publication.

- To the publication: Points to the publication's homepage.
- To the current page: Points to the specific page you're viewing.
