Rebound is a retention and academic recovery program, for students who have been required to withdraw from the College. Students will have the opportunity to build their foundational academic skills and stay enrolled at the college by taking the General Arts and Science - College Transfer certificate or the General Arts and Science – Technology certificate. Participating in one of these academic programs will help learners to build their foundational skills and allow them to continue their post-secondary studies without missing a beat. Diploma and College Certificate students who achieve 60% or higher, after one semester, may be eligible to return to their home program.

The UAP sessions will explain what the academic progression rules are and how Grade Point Averages are calculated at Humber. The sessions will also introduce key contacts and service areas for support with getting back on track to achieving academic and career goals (or for support with exploring and setting new ones!).
New session dates will be announced in August 2024.
If you are an international student at Humber, please also reach out to the International Centre to speak with an International Student Advisor regarding information specific to international students such as impacts to work and PGWP eligibility, Study Permit considerations and immigration document extensions.
