Schedule A Defendent (SAD) Schemes are a United-States endemic variant of Intellectual Property lawsuit. Typically, these lawsuits start with a *sealed* Schedule-A-Defendent list, followed by an Ex-Parte-Temporary Restraining Order to shut down online retailers. Those TROs often force the alleged infringers into settlement.
