AI Makes Training Easier for Foreign Workers in Japan Tokyo's Studist Corp has launched "Teachme AI," a smart software that creates training videos for foreign workers. With translations in 20 languages, including Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, and Bengali, it helps companies train their diverse teams more easily. Japan faces labor shortages and relies more on foreign workers. By October 2023, there were over 2 million foreign workers in the country. The government has updated laws to help these workers stay longer. Teachme AI can quickly turn raw footage into clear, chaptered videos with subtitles and text. It cuts editing time by 90%. In a test, a 30-minute meat packing video with Thai subtitles was created in just 15 minutes. Satoshi Suzuki, President of Studist, highlighted the importance of proper training. Workers like Wandee Sriprom, who used the video, found it easy to understand. Teachme AI is a big step in making training more effective and inclusive, helping both workers and companies thrive.
