On June, Nidec Conversion held its first team-building workshop focused on sustainability awareness, in partnership with Treedom🤝. The Nidec employees who shared this experience had the chance to discover new ways to protect the planet by joining forces together as a team. At Nidec Conversion, we strive every day to create innovative solutions that power the world through technology, while also caring for the planet 🌍. Treedom gave us the opportunity to view nature from a fresh perspective: our employees spent a day kayaking in Genova (Liguria) to observe and understand the impact of algae proliferation on ecosystems, distinguishing between sustainable and harmful growth also due to pollution 🛶. Nearly 20 people took part in this workshop, learning best practices in teamwork and leadership, with sustainability issues at the forefront of the event. Workshops like this offer numerous benefits: breaking away from routine helps change perspectives, stimulates creative thinking, and provides a chance to get to know colleagues better outside the workplace. Our goal is to raise awareness about sustainability and green practices in our company and clients, as every step we take in this direction matters. To further our commitment, we decided to plant 100 trees through the Treedom platform, contributing to a greener and healthier planet 🌳. No matter how small, this forest can make a difference. Thanks to Treedom, all our employees will be able to see our trees because every single tree is photographed and geolocated at the time of planting.
