Last year, we decided to fund a PhD grant with Professor Calderara and were fortunate to have Pietro take this seat. In his PhD journey, Pietro recently attended the prestigious International Computer Vision Summer School #ICVSS2024: "Computer Vision in the Age of Large Language Models." During the summer school, Pietro presented his latest work on Task Arithmetic and Module Compositionality. It was an incredible opportunity for him to engage in seminars led by industry experts and esteemed professors, and to network with passionate peers and professionals from around the world. We are proud of Pietro's achievements and look forward to seeing how he will leverage these learnings in his PhD studies and professional future. Indeed! With DRP-AI, we were able to accelerate in hardware not only the typical blocks of DNN networks but also pre- and post-processing tasks that can significantly burden the MPUs.
