It's been a huge week for geothermal in Kenya, unsurprisingly right after the Kenya Geothermal Congress by the Geothermal Association of Kenya. Sosian Enegy has secured new investment for the Menengai project, and Exergy ORC will be adding to the generation capacity of the Olkaria field. Things are also heating up in the Latin America region with a new EOI in Ecuador for development of the Chachimbiro project, and a geothermal diploma course in El Salvador by LaGeo and GRO-GTP. Over in Europe, the Hungarian Presidency has made a strong push for geothermal to be a vital part of the EU's agenda. This will be the last weekly highlights from us for a while as ThinkGeoEnergy will soon be going on a 2-week summer break. Don't worry, though, as we have a couple of nice surprises planned for the coming days. This would be a great time to catch up on the latest geothermal news stories and where else?
