Claims of Unauthorized Duplication: The notice claims Ola duplicated MapMyIndia’s API and SDKs for unjust commercial gains, infringing on copyright. Dispute Over Independent Development: Ola’s claim of independently developing its API and map data through open sources is contested in the notice. FBI Reaches Out To WazirX On Alleged Crypto Heist By North Korean Cyber Criminals FBI Investigation: The FBI is investigating a cyberattack on WazirX, suspected to involve North Korea’s Lazarus Group. Security Breach: On July 18, WazirX lost $234.9 Mn in a breach targeting its Safe Multisig wallet on the Ethereum Network. Bounty Program: WazirX announced a $23 Mn bounty to recover stolen assets. The attack bypassed Liminal’s infrastructure. Sophisticated Attack: Cofounder Nischal Shetty called the breach highly sophisticated and likely state-sponsored. Centre Extends EV Promotion Scheme Till September Extension and Budget Increase: EMPS 2024 extended to September, budget raised to INR 778 Cr from INR 500 Cr. Subsidy Targets: Subsidizes 5.6 Lakh EVs: 5 Lakh two-wheelers, 60,709 three-wheelers (including rickshaws and e-carts). Eligibility Focus: Mainly supports commercial and corporate-registered electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Advanced Battery Incentives: Incentives limited to EVs with advanced batteries to promote advanced technologies.
