Thank you, WebPT, for partnering with us on our back-to-school initiative to support over 350 children from five homes in Hyderabad with essential school supplies. Your generosity filled our hearts as we delivered smiles and much-needed tools for success.
At WebPT, we're committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. That's why we recently held a return-to-school initiative with the help of our charity partner Nirmaan Organization, where our employees came together to donate school supplies for over 350 children from five different homes in Hyderabad! We partnered with some amazing organizations. These organizations provide critical support and care for underprivileged children. Balatejasu ashray Rainbow Home Chavadi Poor Student Ashramam Friends Foundation Ghatkesar RFI Snehaghar Afzalgunj Falaknuma Rainbow Home. Thanks to our team members generosity, we were able to collect a mountain of school bags, notebooks, pencils, pens, and other essential supplies. It was truly inspiring to see the outpouring of support from our team. On 5th July 2024, we delivered the kits to each of the homes. The smiles on the children's faces were priceless! It was a heartwarming experience to know that we were helping them get ready for the new school year and giving them the tools they need to succeed. A special thanks to our charity partner, Nirmaan Organization and our Give Back Committee, for their invaluable support in coordinating this effort. Together, we're making a difference in the lives of these young students. We're so proud of our employees for their compassion and generosity. This initiative is a great example of how WebPT is making a positive difference in the world. Thanks to all the volunteers for their support and coordination. We are thrilled to announce the successful kick-off of our new project in collaboration with Synopsys Inc to establish Kitchen Gardens in three Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Schools - KGBV Sadashivpet, KGBV Kondapur, and KGBV Kandukur as part of the CSR project on July 6, 2024, during Van Mahostav. This initiative is set to positively impact around 1,100 orphaned, semi-orphaned, and lesser privileged girls from rural areas by providing them with direct access to fresh, organic, and pesticide-free vegetables. Our goal is to foster a sense of environmental responsibility, promote sustainable agricultural practices within the school community, and combat malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency by giving them direct access to fresh, organic, and pesticide-free vegetables while enhancing the soil quality. To ensure the long-term success of these gardens, we will conduct sessions on nutrition, health, garden operations, and maintenance for the students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Synopsys and its senior leadership for their unwavering support and commitment to empowering lesser privileged children through our impactful initiatives. #Synopsys4good #NirmaanNGO #KitchenGardens #SustainableAgriculture #EnvironmentalResponsibility #HealthyEating #OrganicVegetables #CSRInitiative #EmpoweringGirls #VanMahostav #CommunityImpact #SynopsysPartnership #EducationAndNutrition #GardeningForGood #MalnutritionPrevention #GreenSchools #SupportingEducation Bijay Chowdhury II Narendra Korlepara Mayur Patnala (India/Bharat) II Anuradha Pulla II Swati Vempati II Mounika Konatham II Rama Rao Gutlapalli II Himasree Raghumudri II Nikhil Gampa II Sana Saleha II Palemoni Srinivas II Jaya Pavan Yalamati II Saba Naaz II Kumari Surbhi IISupriya B. Meet Adwaith (32 months) and Shreyan (29 months), two incredible children who spread joy with their infectious smiles and innocence. Recently diagnosed with autism, Adwaith and Shreyan urgently need intensive speech, occupational, and behavioral therapies. Doctors emphasize that these therapies are most effective before they turn 3, as early intervention is crucial for their development. Their parents, earning modest incomes, have already spent their hard-earned savings on therapies. The financial strain is forcing them to choose between essential treatments and basic needs. Given the urgency and importance of these therapies, the families are reaching out for YOUR support. By donating, you are giving Adwaith and Shreyan the chance to build and enjoy a future filled with possibilities. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” And it is my good fortune to be part of this group's picture. Fortunate to be among colleagues who have tirelessly volunteered, through the year, to support over 300 youths with means of livelihood, in-turn impacting over 300 families with a source of income. (Someone rightly said, volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart) Fortunate to have been encouraged by late Mark Giuliano, who was a beacon of community giving and sponsor of the youth empowerment program; led by Yogesh Malhotra and driven by the project teams of Invesco India Pvt. Ltd. (Hyderabad) and Nirmaan Organization. Fortunate to conclude this year's program and honor the volunteers, in presence of our President and CEO, Andrew Schlossberg during his recent visit to India. Here's to many more years of making a difference and creating an impact. The Invesco way. #LifeAtInvesco
