I read today an article (https://lnkd.in/d_YRry27) in Calcalist כלכליסט, an Israeli business journal, addressing a troubling issue: the persistent challenges in integrating women into leading managerial roles. The article draws from Deliotte Haskins & Sells’s recent paper, revealing that female representation in leading companies remains alarmingly low, hovering around 25%. In an age of equality and progress, one would hope for more significant strides after years of discussion and legislation on this topic. How do we dismantle this glass ceiling? Past laws seemed promising, but it's evident that greater regulatory efforts are needed. Ensuring higher equality in publicly traded companies should be a priority, supported by investors who recognize the value of diverse leadership. Let's be clear: advocating for women in managerial roles isn't about tokenism. It's about recognizing talent and experience, regardless of gender. My limited personal experience has shown me that fostering diverse leadership, with more than 50% women managers, can be challenging to built, yet it proves to be crucial for the organization's success. This is a principle that I am committed to in any company I am involved with. Unfortunately, outdated perceptions persist, often favoring male CEOs over their equally qualified female counterparts. I firmly believe that diversity drives success in organizations. It's not just a matter of doing what's right; it's essential for growth and prosperity. According to the article, if we fail to act decisively, we could be waiting another 90 years to achieve gender equality in Israel.

"AR computing!" Say goodbye to traditional laptops. An Israeli entrepreneur has innovated a technology that bids farewell to our traditional laptops. Tamir Berliner- founder of Sightful and the innovator behind the Spacetop G1! What is the Spacetop G1? Spatial computer that seamlessly integrates the functionality of a laptop with the capabilities Of Augmented Reality (AR). A 100-inch virtual workspace replaces the need for a physical screen. Spacetop G1 adapts to various environments, whether at home, in the office, or on the go. This represents a step forward in integrating AR technologies with daily tasks. Spatial with AR transforms how we interact with digital content, personally and professionally. The real test will be in its execution. The usability of the AR interface, the battery life, the comfort of AR glasses, etc., are crucial. I believe Sightful has managed to address these practical concerns effectively. And I am awaiting the official release in india. Congrats to Tamir Berliner and the team for their bold move and fantastic innovation. The Spacetop G1 is an evolution in how we think about personal computing. This post is dedicated to my non-Israeli friends. But everyone’s welcome to read it :) I’m sitting down to write this post about 10 minutes before the Israeli Memorial Day transitions to our Independence Day. Every year this is a nearly unbearable transition, from deep sadness to pride and joy. We are taught, from a very young age (as early as 6 years old, as I learned this year through my son), that these two dates were set intentionally, so that us Israelis will always remember that our independence came, and keeps coming, at great cost. This year, I feel it’s even worse than unbearable. It’s simply impossible. I find myself uncapable of celebrating Independence Day. As a nation and a country, we’re still at war. As an individual (and far from being the only one feeling like this), I’m still mourning. I truly believe we should still find ways to be happy and participate in or even initiate whatever activities that serve that purpose. But highlighting the achievement of becoming an independent country, of forming a safe country for Jewish people.. Right now it just doesn’t feel like the right time to do that. And here’s why I’m writing to you, non-Israelis. I want to tell you more about what I’m mourning. I hope this will help those of you who see Israel at a mostly negative light, better understand the complexity of our reality. Personally, I fully acknowledge Israel shares the responsibility over the truly shitty life of the people of Gaza. Along with that, I’m mourning what Israelis must live through right now: The tragic loss of so many loved ones, so many of them in terrible ways that I don’t think I’ll ever dare expose myself to. The need to leave their homes, and uproot their families, their whole lives. The fear that we’ll never feel safe again, not in Israel, and not anywhere else. The feeling I often struggle with, that I might never fully recover from my personal Oct 7 experience. That I will never be my best self again because of it – not the best mother I want to be, not the best partner, not the best friend, not the best employee. So back to the complexity – you see, almost all Israelis are like me. People who just want to feel safe, just want to provide their kids with everything they need, just want to be able to celebrate without thinking about all that is wrong in the world. I’m proud to be Israeli, although I’ve never felt more challenged to say it out loud.

𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙄𝙨 𝙉𝙤 𝙉𝙚𝙚𝙙, 𝙄 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙡.. 🚀 Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well. 📌A few months ago, I joined LinkedIn with high hopes of meeting people who could help bring my project to life. But reality had other plans: ➡️ I met many people, but they had their own priorities. ➡️ My plan was deemed a failure, and I was labeled as incompetent. ➡️ It shattered my heart, and I found myself on the verge of giving up. 🔷 In my darkest moment, my big brother (Dada) stepped in with wisdom that reignited my spirit: 📌 "Do it. I trust you. Research your plan once again with a clear mind. Never let yourself feel demotivated." 🔷 This profound advice taught me several invaluable lessons: ➡️ When you feel like giving up, give it one more try. Often, success is just around the corner. ➡️ Always trust in yourself. Your belief in your abilities is the first step towards achieving your goals. ➡️ Share your struggles with your loved ones. Their support can be the catalyst you need, just as my Dada’s faith was for me. 🔷 Remember, every setback is a setup for a comeback. Keep pushing forward, and never lose hope. 🙂Comment below if u find anything wrong and do correct me also tell me if u have feel same in comment section... #Perseverance #SelfBelief #NeverGiveUp #SupportSystem #OvercomingObstacles #Inspiration #Motivation #Leadership

CASE STORY - PART II ------- We are on with the second part of story about our implementation to Tel Aviv Medical Center - T.A.M.C Ltd. This time it's more detailed, and tells about how we moved this medical center from 6 systems to one. All-in-one is one of the basic concepts of our software. We really thing, that using multiple solutions (sometimes over 30) only make your clinic way less efficient. If you have a software mess in your medical center or chain of clinics - that one is for you 😊 https://lnkd.in/eQM-tNK8

After years as a commander in the IDF, it was clear to me that I wanted to continue working with people. I started my academic studies in behavioral sciences about three years ago, I immersed myself in anthropology, sociology, psychology and everything in between, with subjects I never thought existed. All of these changed my thinking , and I quickly realized that my place was in the world of human resources. In the first lesson, the lecturer promised that by the end of the degree we would discover the secret of happiness. Unfortunately, it didn't happen 🤦♂️ , but I did learn how to see the world from other perspectives. I found that the thoughts I had in my head were given official names, and insights that had previously seemed like fantasy turned out to be complete theories in the world of organizational behavior. This week the first part of the journey came to an end - I received a bachelor's degree 🎓 Although I did not discover the recipe for happiness, I acquired a lot of knowledge and tools for my continued development and success as an HR manager :) #HR #Behavioral Sciences #New Beginnings #Leadership #Ending #ContinuousLearning 🎓🚀

Tel Aviv rises to 4th place in the annual ranking of the global technological innovation ecosystem 2024 by Startup Genome Tel Aviv climbed 1 place to fourth place in an annual report that ranked the most attractive innovation ecosystem in the world for startups & innovation. Los Angeles is 4th place as well & California's Silicon Valley is in 1st place. New York & London share second place. The report ranks the top 40 tech startup hubs in more than 300 ecosystems worldwide, collecting data on 4.5 million startups. A higher ecosystem ranking increases the chances of global success for early-stage startups. The top five global ecosystems are worth $4.4 trillion – based on exits and startup valuations – or 54% of the total of the top 40 hubs. The remaining 35 ecosystems are worth a combined $4 trillion. Tel Aviv's technological ecosystem was valued at $235 billion, compared to a global average of $29.4 billion. For the annual ranking, the research company measured five success factors: 1. Performance, which takes into account the number and growth of exits and how many successful startups; 2. Access to financing and its quality; 3. Market reach, or the ability to tap into global markets; 4. How easy it is to recruit top talent; 5. Knowledge, a measure of the impact of advertising and patents. Israeli startups are facing dwindling financial pathways amid a fundraising drought following political unrest in the first nine months of 2023 and the outbreak of war with the Hamas terrorist group on October 7. During the ongoing fighting, the Israeli army recruited hundreds of thousands of reservists, some of whom remain in uniform. Venture capital funding raised by Israeli startups in 2023 dropped by 58% year-on-year and amounted to $7.3 billion, returning to levels last seen in 2018, and after record years in 2020 to 2022. Entrepreneurs from Tel Aviv face unprecedented challenges, yet continue to build impeccable technologies and fast-growing businesses that successfully penetrate global markets." The 2024 Startup Ecosystem report, published annually since 2012, noted that Tel Aviv led all five top ecosystems except Silicon Valley in the second part of 2023, with seven such transactions. The largest exit was Oddity, an online consumer technology that debuted on the Nasdaq stock market, valued at over $2 billion. The acquisition of the Tel Aviv startup Run:ai for AI workload management by Nvidia announced in April was cited as a "positive signal" in the report. Tel Aviv startups also receive reinforcements from a "strong" network of venture capital funds, the report states. In January, the VC company Cardumen Capital, which invests in early-stage software and hardware startups, raised $120 million for its second fund. In July 2023 , VC TLV Partners announced its fifth fund worth $250 million, and in August, early-stage venture capital fund Symbol closed its seed fund, raising a total of $50 million.

#IsraeliStartups, particularly in the #healthcare sector, are thriving due to a combination of factors. 🇮🇱 #Israel is recognized as a global leader in #medicalinnovation, boasting a vibrant ecosystem of about 1,500 companies in healthcare and life sciences. 🦾💻🌐 This innovation is driven by a strong foundation in technological advancements, such as AI and #RemoteDiagnostics. 🧲💸 Significant #investment is another pillar supporting Israeli healthcare startups.
