TamaWrap global leaders, along with the Tama USA TamaWrap team, recently visited Raleigh, NC. In North Carolina, they visited a cotton farm in Tarboro to learn about on-farm research being conducted across the state and hear from David Parrish with the NC COTTON PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION about the opportunities and challenges facing local farmers. They also spent time at Cotton Incorporated and learned about the many areas of research conducted by Cotton Inc. Lastly, they visited a local spinning mill to see how cotton goes from a ginned bale into yarn that will be knitted into finished products. It was a very informative trip for the entire team! Many thanks to everyone who helped make this visit possible. We are so thankful to be members of the cotton community!

Last month, Tama Ireland had an amazing achievement when our new revolutionary EZ-web won the ‘Best Adaption Product’ award as part of the Better Farming Awards ceremony in Dublin, Ireland.   The category of 'Best Adaption Product’ aims to recognize a company that identified a less sustainable element of their product, procedure, practice, or processing and has adapted or developed a more sustainable model. We're happy and proud to share that lately, Tama Hungary production site completed the installation of a new Photovoltaic (PV) system and we expect that at 2024 at least 10% of our production energy will be solar energy. This is a giant leap in Tama's sustainability actions, which also includes the use of recycled raw materials in our product, the collection of our products from the field, and many more environmental actions. After a long 4 years, we're super excited to be back at Agritechnica and share some photos from our booth and from the press conference where we presented our two main innovations: EZ Web for sustainable round baling and IMPAX technology for baler twine. Tama's Commercial team left the comfort of the office and set out to help the Israeli farmers with cucumber trellising

Tama for the Israeli Agricultural community: Since the war in Israel started, Tama employees have stepped up to lend a helping hand to Israel’s agricultural community and volunteered their time to help out on farms in the South and North of Israel, where there is a desperate need of assistance, since most of the farmhands in those areas have been evacuated. Our teams helped with tying Tama's Trellising Twines to support plant growth of certain crops at various greenhouses in affected areas, and also assisted with the fruit and vegetable harvest, with great drive and high motivation. Tama is committed to supporting the sustaining of the agricultural sector during such a challenging time. Our employees represent everything that Tama stands for, embracing the values upon which Tama was built and carrying them beyond the office and factory walls. We are extremely proud of you!
