No report no payment confirmation

Had to login in many times…. Went through all the steps then the payment page kept stalling….. the chat function is offline…. now I have no info and I have no idea if my payment went through and no report….. I’m trying to buy a car today and your service is an absolute joke….

Recommend this service

I recently used Cartell before buying the car I subsequently purchased. The report received was very comprehensive and thorough. The car had outstanding dealer finance which was highlighted. Several times I had to contact Cartell via web chat and phone and each time I dealt with Geraldine. She was extremely helpful, couldn’t have been nicer, answered all my questions promptly and even called me to let me know when the finance was cleared. Geraldine really went above and beyond for me as she knew I was anxious to secure the car. Would highly recommend and use again.

Great customer service

Speaking with Colette, went through history check as first time running a report. Pointed out high amount of previous owners and to check insurance company as can cause issues which I did not know. Very knowledgable and straight to the point with the information being clear. Altogether really happy with great customer service

Excellent vehicle check service

We are a small garage (sales and repair) in Dublin and use Cartell to check ALL of our cars prior to purchase / sale. We have been using them for years and find them to be the best - very professional and importantly accurate vehicle history check. Easy to contact by mail or phone ... knowledgeable staff and friendly too. As a business we need to protect consumers and ensure or vehicle have no nasty surprises (which they don't). We intend using Cartell well into the future.

Dodgy Dealer Deterrent!!

Many friends and family members have avoided buying lemons from dealers/cowboys because of this amazing service. I can't stress enough how important it is to get a vehicle history check. You just don't know who you can trust now days so before you hand over all your hard earned savings for a flagged stolen or damaged vehicle make sure to get a full vehicle history report.

Can't trust report

We recently carried out a car check on Cartell.ie and the report for vehicle in question came back with a glowing response.
However we decided to crosscheck on another website and the report came back with a warning flag suggesting the vehicle may be a write off, damaged in a crash, used as a garda car, or possibly flood damaged.
How can this be as we were searching the same on registration on both sites.
Having paid for the Cartell report we can't trust it. So what are we paying for???

Really went the extra mile which…

Really went the extra mile which highlighted some real inconsistencies with what was being advertised by the dealer and what was actually reality. Geraldine the lady who was addressing my question was really efficient and did a deep dive into the primary red flag and suggested next steps if I wished to pursue the car. Worth every cent - even when considering buying via a dealer. I decided to pass on this purchase. Thank you.

Fantastic Service

Fantastic Service. I would never buy a motor vehicle without first checking with Cartel. The last time I used the Service it identified outstanding Finance which was promptly cleared when I drew the Seller's attention to it. I suspect many cars have outstanding Finance when offered for sale. Please be careful.

Geraldine in cartell helped me with my decision to buy my new car

Used cartell for the first time today, chatted with Geraldine who helped me understand the report better by offering to call me and talk me though it. Donal Lawlor Cartell

I have been dealing with Donal Lawlor of Cartell for nearly two years. As a large company that was looking for a system that would help us in our day-to-day activities, Donal has been very patient and informative about how Cartell could assist us and bring us through the system and its positives. He has made our engagements with Cartell very easy and is always ready to lend a helping hand when we have any queries. I cannot recommend Cartell enough and with staff like Donal available at your fingertips makes it more accessible.

Exceptional Service

I emailed Cartell with an enquiry about a car which was listed as damaged on the Cartell Report. Literally within minutes I got a call back from Colette who was extremely helpful and provided all information required. Great service from a great company which I've usd many times before.

Customer service Outstanding!

Rang up Car Tell to get a detailed report and spoke to a woman named Geraldine. Not only was she able to give me information on the car history but the customer service was 10/10 if not more. She showed genuine interest in my pursuit of buying a car and told me what questions to ask the car dealer. Would highly recommend!

SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT A* I ordered a full 3 star report from cartell.ie and noticed a mileage discrepancy... I made a quick call to the company and customer service advisor Geraldine went out of her way to trace the milage for me. I can now buy my car with confidence with the extra information. Would recommend to anyone who is buying a second hand car privately and needs a full check.

We have been dealing with Donal Lawlor…

We have been dealing with Donal Lawlor of Cartell for last couple years. He is always on the other end of the phone if any queries at all, and very helpful in checking things out if any queries on a history check that we have carried out, He is a Gentleman to deal with and couldn't be more helpful with anything we check with him and always a response in a very timely manner. He has made our dealings with Cartell very easy and is always ready at other end of phone when we have any queries. We are very happy with the service that Cartell Provides and with staff like Donal at other end of phone if any queries it leaves them a pleasure to deal with.
