🥇 Great news! 💯 Nicholas O'Dwyer has recently been awarded the prestigious #InvestorsinDiversity Gold in recognition of the team's commitment to embedding #DiversityAndInclusion (D&I) within the organisation’s culture & processes and through its external impacts. 💚 Caroline Cummins, Managing Director, Irish Centre for Diversity comments: "Nicholas O'Dwyer has progressed through the three tiers of Investors in Diversity with significant advances at each stage. Our assessment highlighted how much of priority has been placed on FREDIE™ - Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement. Standouts include the firm’s leadership position as a role model and Diversity Champion in the sector. They encourage others in the industry to share their progress by offering suppliers access to their D&I policies, which can then be adapted and applied to their organisations. They have made notable changes to the business in response to an Accessibility Audit and they use an ‘Equality Impact Assessment’ as an integral part of planning for events. Very well done to everyone in the business and we look forward to sharing more of your D&I journey of continuous progress." 💚Jim Oliver, Managing Director of Nicholas O’Dwyer stated: “This is a truly fantastic achievement and one that all at Nicholas O'Dwyer are extremely proud of. We are one of an elite group of 21 companies in Ireland who have achieved Gold accreditation out of a pool of approximately 300,000 companies, and the very first company in the construction and engineering sector. A lot of work by many people over the past three years has helped us achieve this success, particularly all on our EDI committee, Whilst we have a very long history of successfully working in different countries with different cultures it is always nice to be recognised for the organisation we are – rich in different nationalities, gender identities and cultures that respects the views and diversity of all.” 🔗 For more information visit: https://lnkd.in/ecxqmwP #CelebrateDiversity #DiversityatWork #RSKfamily
