𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰á𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Last month, the Sisk UK North team held their now annual charity golf day in aid of the Dearcán Foundation. 20 teams battled it out on the fairways of the course at Mottram Hall in Cheshire. A dinner and raffle followed, including some fantastic prices donated including signed Manchester City memorabilia, VIP tickets at the Coop Live arena, spa day vouchers and much more. In excess of £22,000 was raised for the foundation, which was set up in memory of our Sisk colleague, Dave Tracey, who for over 30 years was passionate about giving young people the best possible start in life. The donations are used to continue this work, by supporting scholarships for those in the built environment, and organisations who work with young people in disadvantaged areas. Alan Rodger, Managing Director, UK North, Sisk, said: “This was our second annual golf day up in Cheshire and it was a real success. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I really appreciate the support from our supply chain partners and staff who helped make the event so successful. The amount raised will really help the Dearcán Foundation and it will really help to potentially change the lives of the young people who will benefit from the Foundation’s work. We look forward to next year’s event, raising more money for such a great cause.” Thank you to everyone who supported the event. #WeAreSisk #DearcanFoundation #CharityGolf #Construction #SupplyChain Alan Rodger Paul Flynn BSc (Hons) MCInstCES Jordan Withers Winifred Ryan Christina Nichols Rachel Baron-Kordecki Kasia Wisniewska Anna Byk

𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵-𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 £𝟭𝟬𝗸 In hammering wind and rain (typical of an English summer!), 13 cyclists from Sisk’s UK South set off on a challenging 250km, two-day trip from Reading to Bath and back last week, which included 2,010m of climbing. Day 1 was completed in 5hrs 30mins, with a strong headwind and hills the main opposition. Day 2 - completed in 4hrs 39mins - provided a much-needed tailwind despite rain showers, although the sun did appear on occasion too! The money raised will be split between two fantastic charities, Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis and The New Normal Charity. You can find out more via the fundraising page here, which is open until 4 August: https://lnkd.in/ezm4JXHg The support from the fundraising event will go a long way in contributing to these charities. A significant construction milestone was celebrated recently at Glass Bottle, Sandymount Strand, Dublin 4. Together the development team (Lioncor and RGRE) delivered the “topping out” of two of the three residential blocks in the first phase of the development. John Maxwell CEO at Lioncor commented “The progress at Glass Bottle is the result of the exceptional work from our dedicated and experienced team, as well as the collaborative support from Dublin City Council. We’re witnessing the transformation of a brownfield site into something new and innovative but in keeping with the city of Dublin. We are delighted to be “topping out” phase one of the largest residential housing project in the city, providing much needed new homes in our capital and contributing to solving the housing crisis. We look forward to providing an update on the next phase in due course.” The development of Glass Bottle will see the transformation of 37.2 acres of industrial land into an integrated and vibrant new place for all Dubliners. The ambition and vision for the site is to create a new balanced community made up of private, social, affordable and rented homes along with next generation work spaces. Glass Bottle on completion will provide new homes for approximately 10,000 residents and a similar number of workers on a fantastic bayside location. Rory Williams, CEO at RGRE said: “RGRE is proud to be part of the team behind this much-needed residential development for Dublin City which creates a sustainable new community in a high-quality living space. The Glass Bottle site looks out onto Dublin Bay from an incredible location transforming a barren industrial plot into a vibrant new neighbourhood community where families will find jobs, homes and a new, more enjoyable and sustainable, way of living. As further elements of the overall Glass Bottle scheme progress, intelligent, innovative design and land-use present us with the opportunity to deliver thousands of homes, next generation workspaces and leisure facilities at a time of huge demand for housing.”  See more at https://glassbottle.ie/ #Lioncor #RGRE #WeAreSISK #ToppingOut #EveryDayANewDawn #GlassBottleDublin #sandymount #dublin4 #newhomes #construction Drone Imagery by Barrow Coakley
