Today, on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, we are proud to stand as a philanthropic hub with a commitment to #LeaveNoChildBehind in the fight against human trafficking. The statistics of '1 in 3 victims of trafficking is a child' is staggering. Everyone must play a role in saying no to child trafficking! Jerry highlights our work with our partners, that support victims of human trafficking, as well as bring positive policy forward with evidence based research. Delighted to have been a partner at the Social Change Initiative 2024 Belfast Conference addressing violent conflict and polarisation. It truly was an international conference with speakers and delegates represented globally. As a philanthropic hub, with our over 5,000 voluntary and community partners working with a mission of #EqualityForAll, it was important to understand the landscape in a global context and also to share our thoughts with the room and to highlight our work in the area of polarisation, as our Chief Executive Denise Charlton chaired a panel on addressing polarisation. #SCIConf #Philanthropy
SCI convened an international conference in Belfast, bringing together 200+ delegates from philanthropy, government, & practice focused on addressing violent conflict & polarisation. Some great resources to help tackle these pressing global issues. #SCIPeaceConf 👉 https://lnkd.in/dsgu39jR
