    📍Training Programme for Capacity Building in Electrical Safety Management for New and Renewable Energy Power Generation Facilities in the ASEAN Region The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), in collaboration with the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation(KESCO), successfully conducted a three-day training programme on capacity building in electrical safety management for New and Renewable Energy (NRE) power generation facilities in the ASEAN region. Held from 8-10 July 2024 in Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, the event aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of participants from various ASEAN Member States (AMS) by focusing on South Korea’s best practices in electrical safety management for NRE facilities. 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/gk4RKi8g

    📍 Strengthening ASEAN’s Energy Security through Renewable Energy and Technology Implementation Roadmap as Part of the 31st RE-SSN Associated Meetings On 12 June 2024, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), supported by the USAID Southeast Asia Smart Power Program (#SPP) and hosted by Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), Malaysia, organised the event “Strengthening ASEAN’s Energy Security through Renewable Energy and Technology Implementation Roadmap”.     📍3rd ASEAN Data Sharing Workshop on Guideline and Frameworks to Accelerate the Expansion of Multilateral Electricity Trading, as part of the 42nd SOME and Its Associated Meetings The ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), with support of USAID Southeast Asia Smart Power Program (#SPP) organised the 3rd ASEAN Data Sharing Workshop on Guideline and Frameworks to Accelerate the Expansion of Multilateral Electricity Trading on 24 June 2024, in Vientiane, Lao PDR.     📍 31st Renewable Energy – Sub Sector Network (RE-SSN) Annual Meeting of the ASEAN Energy Cooperation in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia On 14 June 2024, the ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE) successfully organised the 31st Renewable Energy – Sub Sector Network (RE-SSN) Meeting, hosted by the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
