A man is facing multiple charges, including manslaughter, after police say he stabbed another man in his torso in White Plains.
Police say the 911 caller described the suspect and police stopped him and took him into custody.
Emergency crews began lifesaving aid to the victim before he was transported to Westchester Medical Center.
"We believe this resulted from some type of street dispute. Again, the investigation is ongoing but we do have the person we believe who did the stabbing is under arrest. We did recover the knife," said White Plains Department of Public Safety Commissioner David Chong.
Police say the knife that was recovered was covered in blood.
