Discussions at the #VIKI HQ 🏢 On Friday, we had the pleasure of receiving senior executives from prominent industry and financial organizations at our office to explore potential partnerships. 🤝 The meeting focused on the importance of building a cross-sector ecosystem and fostering innovation. During their visit, our Deputy CEO, Balazs Hendrich, presented the company’s portfolio and goals, highlighting #VIKI's role in connecting universities and startup communities with the defence sector. 🎓🚀 Fostering corporate relations is crucial in our mission to drive innovation. Panelbeszélgetés a 2024. évi Külgazdasági értekezleten! 🇭🇺 Július 3-án László Deme, haderőfejlesztésért és innovációért felelős helyettes államtitkár, kijelölt #VIKI vezérigazgató egy rendkívül informatív kerekasztal-beszélgetésen vett részt a Budapesti Kongresszusi Központban megrendezett Éves Külgazdasági Értekezleten. 🏢🌐 A diskurzus a világunkban zajló konfliktusok és a védelmi ipar növekvő szerepe köré összpontosult.🛡️ Az eszmecseréhez Zsolt dr. Kutnyánszky, State Secretary of Defence, Zsolt Tarjáni dr., Business Development Executive of VEX - Hungarian Defence Export Agency Ltd. and Péter Faragó, Deputy CEO of N7 Holding National Defense Industry Innovation Plc.. The panel was moderated by Dorottya Bősze, foreign economic attaché in Brussels. 💬 The questions raised and the shared experiences during the panel discussion contributed to a deeper understanding of the current challenges and opportunities in the defense industry. 💡 We thank the organizers for the invitation to share our experiences. 🙏

Highlighting Drones and Sensors! 📅 The Defence Innovation Research Institute held its second professional day on July 1-2, this time at the Hajmáskér Training Base, focusing on drones, aerial vehicles, and integrable sensors. The event aimed to provide a platform for domestic companies, universities, and research institutes to showcase their equipment, and for military personnel to ask questions about the development status, directions, and potential applications of these technologies. 📣 The event was opened by László Deme, Deputy State Secretary for Military Development and Innovation, designated CEO of #VIKI. In his speech, he highlighted: "Today is a special day because we are focusing specifically on drones. In the future, drones are expected to be widely utilized, making the use of domestically developed devices critically important. 📅 On June 27, 2024, Deputy State Secretary László Deme, appointed CEO of #VIKI, and Deputy CEO Balazs Hendrich welcomed Diana Madunic, Ambassador of #Sweden and Lieutenant Colonel Stefan Fredriksson, Defence Attaché to our office. The meeting focused on Swedish-Hungarian defence industry relations and cooperation in the field of innovation, particularly the collaboration between Saab and #VIKI in augmented reality (#XR) technologies. Ms Diana Madunic emphasized that as a new NATO member, #Sweden supports establishing a strong and independent defence industry base, as well as maintaining technological superiority. 🔍 As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop the existing good relations. 🤝 We thank the Ambassador and the Lieutenant Colonel for their visit! This meeting was an important milestone in strengthening Swedish-Hungarian defence industry relations, and we hope that in the future, cooperation between the two countries will become even closer in the areas of innovation and technological development. 🙏

That’s a wrap for Eurosatory 2024! 🎉 It has been an exciting 5 days at Eurosatory for #VIKI, filled with inspiring discussions, live demonstrations, and invaluable networking opportunities. 🤝 Over the last week, our colleagues Istvan Soos, Benedek Budahazy, Kintzly Péter, Gergely Kovacs, Robin Ladila, Alexandra Nemeth,PMP, Kiss Márton, Ilyés András, and Benedek Forrai showcased our company’s portfolio, projects, our outstanding off-road electric motorcycle, the #NOMAD 🏍️, as well as the many possibilities of #XR / #VR technology and developments at the Hungarian National Pavilion. 🇭🇺 Robin Ladila and Gergely Kovacs held collaborative discussions with leading companies in the #XR and R+D sectors. Additionally, Gergely Kovacs presented various #XR training solutions and opportunities to representatives from several countries. 🌐 Eurosatory provided a platform to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new connections within the global defence community. Our team engaged in productive discussions with industry leaders, potential partners, and stakeholders, exploring future collaborations and advancements. 🌍 The Expo brought together over 62,000 visitors and more than 2,000 exhibitors from 62 countries making this event a remarkable success. 🙌 We thank our colleagues for their outstanding work, VEX - Hungarian Defence Export Agency Ltd. for the cooperation and everyone who visited us. Strengthening Partnerships at Eurosatory 2024 🌍🤝 On June 20, 2024, Balazs Hendrich, Deputy CEO of #VIKI, negotiated in Paris. During the Eurosatory defence industry exhibition, which took place from June 17-21, Balazs Hendrich met with Özgür Taylan SARI, the Vice President of Business Development at the Turkish defence company Aselsan 🇹🇷 to discuss details of a modernization collaboration focused on land systems. 🛡️ Additionally, he had a meeting with Bostjan Skalar, the director of the GOIS - Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster 🇸🇮 to explore cooperation and networking opportunities. The Slovenian partner expressed strong interest in joining the Central European Defence Innovation Institute (DIICE), which is planned to be established soon under Hungarian coordination. ✨ We thank Aselsan and GOIS - Slovenian Defence Industry Cluster for the discussions and look forward to working together on initiatives that will strengthen defence capabilities and foster innovation. 🙏
