On 24 July, the Commission adopted its fifth Rule of Law Report and released the results of two surveys on the attitudes of citizens and businesses towards corruption, which provide data for anti-corruption policymaking and show that most Europeans believe corruption is widespread in their country.

Co-funded by the European Commission, the “All Children in Education” programme was concluded on June 30, making a significant impact on the lives of refugee and migrant children in Greece. Since its launch in 2021, it has supported over 25,000 children, bridging formal and non-formal education.

The EU can offer temporary protection to displaced persons from non-EU countries who are unable to return to their country of origin. Such protection is given as an exceptional measure to help EU countries alleviate pressure on their asylum systems.
