A fire side chat approach, does allow sharing information in more depth while engaging with the audience, since we can throw in our Q's and POV's. This year's HR Scale Up Summit, achieved that to a great extent! Got real value from the mini training on "How To Give Feedback" by Dimitris Papadimitriou, blown away by the sincerity and ease of Dimitri Memo (ex CEO of MarineTraffic) and impressed by the data depicting the future workforce, Gen Z by Orfeas Stavrou! Absolutely loved John Kollas that essentially challenged the status quo of the HR Pro on "Are you actually an HR professional?" Most HR Directors I know, would argue that we still have a long way to go until a CEO's decision making can be strongly influenced by HR, but most would agree that it should! Missed Konstantinos Kintzios, MBA on that panel as I am certain his opinion would shake HR fundamentals... Making new connections, sharing ideas and challenging obsolete views is what it's all about and Souzana Theodoridou, Startup Pathways with her team, enabled us all to achieve that!
