There’s an after-sales revolution happening right now 💥 It’s called Equipment-as-a-Service, and it’s completely transforming how OEMs deploy, maintain, and upgrade industrial equipment. It’s a transition driven by two key factors: 1️⃣ First, end users want more personalized equipment, spelling the end of “one-size-fits-all” approaches to production and repair. 2️⃣ And second, regulators want equipment to be longer-lasting, requiring the robust monitoring of equipment in the field. Leveraging operational data from factory equipment to enrich customer-specific virtual twins, which in turn can be used to enable a range of operational optimizations.
