𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐜 Vallourec is pleased to announce the completion of the acquisition by ArcelorMittal of Apollo funds’ stake in Vallourec. As a result of the acquisition, ArcelorMittal holds 28.4% of the voting rights and 27.5% of the share capital of the Company. ArcelorMittal have entered into a new shareholder agreement. This transaction was made possible by the New Vallourec plan, which was announced in May 2022 a few weeks after Philippe Guillemot assuming the role of Chairman of the Board and CEO in March 2022. The New Vallourec plan has transformed the Group into a focused, streamlined, and resilient company with a promising future. Vallourec’s 2023 earnings were the best Group results in nearly 15 years. The Group has reduced its net debt by more than €1.1 billion versus third quarter 2022 peak, to €364 million in the second quarter of 2024. Vallourec is now ahead of plan in its objective to reach zero net debt by the end of 2025 at the latest and as a result intends to begin returns to its shareholders in 2025 at the latest, subject to approval by its Board of Directors and its shareholders. The board of directors have appointed Mr. Genuino Magalhaes Christino and Mr. Keith James Howell as directors and Mr. Aditya Mittal, as observer. Press Release here: https://lnkd.in/ebGCgnmT

Recently, Vallourec conducted a technical seminar for its customers in Egypt, focusing on #OCTG training and showcasing Vallourec's innovative #services, such as WAAM, Pre-Installed Cable Protectors, TallyVision, and Prime Mapping. The seminar highlighted the significance of the new API 5CT revision and the need to adapt specific grades and connections for the Egyptian market. Attendees valued the opportunity to refresh their knowledge of OCTG products and participated in productive discussions about improving operations and safety with Vallourec's solutions. 💡 Vallourec's Prime Mapping solution revolutionized pipe measurement accuracy for a leading oil and gas operator in Australia. By delivering over 60,000 internal diameter (ID) measurements per pipe, with a resolution of up to 0.1 millimeters, the solution enabled the operator to meticulously select the optimal pipes for packer installation. This precision not only facilitates a seamless packer setting process but also significantly mitigates integrity risks and saves time that may otherwise be spent redoing operations in the event that a packer setting fails pressure tests. 💡 Today, July 15th, is the World Youth Skills Day. Did you know that Vallourec is committed to #youthemployment and skills development in all its locations? 🌍  In France, 79 apprentices currently discover our fields of expertise – we have dedicated partnerships with universities such as INSA. 🌏 In Indonesia, Vallourec is targeting students through training support at vocational, diploma and bachelor level to develop their skills in Vallourec’s field of expertise and industrial excellence. Vallourec participated in regional #careerfairs attracting over 700 participants. 🌎 In the US, Vallourec welcomes 12 university students as interns to give them a grasp of our range of expertise in tubular solutions and is actively involved in local school supply drives. 🌎 And last but not least, in Brazil, Vallourec engages with educational institutions to promote our employer branding and enhance the attraction of young talent through our #internship and #apprenticeship programs. In 2024, Vallourec in Brazil has welcomed 424 apprentices and interns so far. Vallourec also commits to gender diversity, acting in all of its locations at high school and university level to attract talented young girls to our industry.
