The Rigby Foundation, the Rigby family's charitable foundation, has pledged a £600,000 investment to help unemployed young people in the West Midlands secure a career in the tech sector.   The three-year commitment will fund charity, Generation UK's skills bootcamps in the West Midlands. These equip young people with the skills they need to secure high-demand roles such as cloud and data engineering, cyber security and data analytics. Exciting news from SCC! Andy Wright makes a return as UK Commercial Director and Amy Simpson Simpson has been promoted to Revenue Operations Director. Andy previously spent 18 years at SCC before leaving in 2017. Now, he's back to lead the company's commercial strategy. With 34 years of experience in reselling and distribution, Andy is ready to tackle new challenges and opportunities. Andy mentions his excitement about re-joining SCC, a company that has transformed significantly in his absence. From a £7 million refurbishment of its Birmingham headquarters to navigating a global pandemic, SCC has evolved. Andy is eager to contribute to its continued growth and expansion of key partnerships. On the other hand, Amy Simpson, who joined SCC from UKCloud in May 2022, has been a pivotal force in driving growth and sales enablement. With 17 years of experience in account management, partner management, and business development, Amy is well-equipped to lead the RevOps team. Her data-driven approach has already made a significant impact, and she will continue to support the sales team in achieving sustainable growth.
