Largest EU Acceleration & Investment programme for sustainable mobility startups🇪🇺🚀
À propos
More than just a prize: The European Startup Prize for mobility (EUSP) is a EU-founded Acceleration and Investment Programme for sustainable mobility startups. It was created in 2017 by Karima Delli, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID. Supported by both the European Parliament and the European Commission, together with major mobility corporations such as Groupe ADP, GRDF, Europcar Mobility Group and RATP Group, this public-private initiative aims to support and scale up smart and sustainable mobility startups all across Europe. Each year, 500+ startups apply to its Acceleration and Investment programme. The EUSP provides multiple investment opportunities as a “one-stop-shop” to EU funds (European Commission, European Investment Bank, EIT InnoEnergy and Urban Mobility) and private investors (Demo Day, ESAC Angels’ Club). In addition, 10 best startups benefit each year from a tailor-made mentoring from BCG and visibility in front of EU decision makers. Last but not least, the EUSP is an advocacy organisation that aims to structure and raise up the voices of the green innovation ecosystem. The first “European Mobility Startup Manifesto” was published earlier this year to take part in the European Commission’s Green Deal/Smart and Sustainable Mobility Strategy. The EUSP also provides cities and regional authorities with startup’s solutions and products.

What is our startup experience like?... is it always fun or mostly frustrating? Why are pillow fights happening at Stellar? And what are pillow fights? These and other challenging questions were answered by our three Co-Founders Anela Boese, Damien Garot and Hassan Aouisse in the most recent episode of the "What were they thinkng?" podcast. Dan Sobovitz, the host of the podcast and the person who has been there on every step of the way of the European Startup Prize for Mobility journey, has done a really great job at digging deep to understand who is behind Stellar, how the co-founders built up the business, and what convinced them to leave their comfortable corporate lives. Listen to the episode on your favorite podcast platform or right here: https://lnkd.in/dmbm4u8A Thanks for having our team on the podcast Dan Sobovitz!! #EUSP23 #Connectivity #ConnectedMobility #StartupPodcast

Yesterday, Danielle Walsh met with Karima Delli, the President of the Transportation and Tourism Committee at the European Parliament (and the founder of the European Startup Prize for Mobility) and Maroš Šefčovič, the Executive Vice-President for the European Green Deal at the European Commission 🚘 Our conversations with the top executives made it clear that our solution is the key technology for the European transportation sector's net zero race, as the Clearly technology offers fleet owners, operators and suppliers the data insights and AI tools they need to: -precisely identify their CO2 footprint to a scope 3 level • make significantly better operating decisions, saving vasts amounts of money day to day and when making investment decisions • have the data available that will be needed to access a rapidly growing base of climate based financing products 🍃 It's clear that with perfect trip level emission data, Europe can accelerate the Green Deal transition of the mobility sector. Thank you to Dan Sobovitz for bringing this together, and to our winning startup peers who we learn and grow from - Damien Garot from Stellar 🚘 Mikko Ampuja 🚲 🚘 🚲 🚘from Vapaus Karin Ebbinghaus from Elonroad, Jean-Michel Estibals from RAILwAI José Ramón Bauzá Marian-Jean Marinescu #EUSP23 #WinnersEUSP

I had the amazing opportunity to thank some of the creators of the European declaration on cycling yesterday! Karima Delli has been one of the driving forces behind clean mobility and especially the declaration on cycling. Pleasure to meet again and discuss the topics of cycling together with the Parliaments transport and tourism committee. And really happy to connect with the European green deal EVP Maroš Šefčovič. As Europe faces global competition with Asia and the US, it's vital that Europe can support the growth of new innovative businesses with net positive impact. A pleasure to discuss the change that mobility startups can create with the winners of the European Startup Prize for Mobility. Thank you so much Dan Sobovitz for creating this amazing community we have with the 2023 batch and facilitating these discussions with the parliaments transport and tourism committee as well as the commission. #Sustainability #Innovation #EUMobility #ClimateAction #cycling

🌍 Today in Brussels, representing Elonroad, I engaged with key figures at the EU Parliament, Karima Delli and the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič to discuss a green future for European transport. In light of the EU Parliament's recent approval of a law aimed at slashing the carbon footprint of trucks, the timing couldn't be better to advocate for the inclusion of electrical roads within the AFIR directive. As Elonroad leads the charge in this innovative technology, we highlighted how electrical roads can significantly complement the existing infrastructure of charging and hydrogen stations, accelerating our journey towards the EU’s climate targets. 🚗💡Our discussions were driven by the urgent need to broaden our toolkit for decarbonization. By integrating electrical roads into the AFIR directive, we can enhance the scalability of electric transport solutions across Europe, making a tangible impact on our environment. A huge thank you to the European Startup Prize for Mobility and Dan Sobovitz, facilitating these crucial conversations. I also had the opportunity to present the "2035 Joint Impact Assessment of Greenhouse Gas Reducing Pathways for EU Road Transport," which underscores the strategic importance of electrical roads. Jakob Rogstadius Let's unite our efforts to make electrical roads a part of the AFIR directive. Together, we can pave the way for a sustainable and efficient future. 🌱🔋 #Sustainability #Innovation #EUMobility #ClimateAction #Elonroad #MakeElectricRoadsAFIRReality
