A trough of low pressure will dominate the mid-section of the country for a couple more days and that will give us a very good shot at some showers & t-storms. Be on the lookout for the potential for some heavy rain. The potential for several inches of rain over the next 3 days will certainly be possible. With the showers & t-storms, temperatures will be cooler than normal staying in the 80s. We should see at least a little bit of sunshine by the time the weekend rolls around.
