Rockford Huskies Welcome

NIU alumni and students are invited to connect during a special event to celebrate our recent graduates and welcome the newest generation of Huskies heading to NIU.

Come out and enjoy a picnic-style lunch, as well as fun and networking with NIU alumni and students from the Rockford area. You'll hear from WREX-TV meteorologist Claudia Olech, '21, about her NIU journey, updates about NIU's presence in Rockford and have the opportunity to share your Huskie experience as you mingle. 

This free event will take place Sunday, July 21, at noon on the Riverview Terrace at the Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens in Rockford. This includes complimentary access to the conservatory's "Growing Home" exhibit about the wild origins of domestic houseplants from 2-3 p.m.
