Attention Awareness Feature not working!

Attention Awareness Feature is not working anymore with my 14PM. The switch in settings was even greyed out. I read online to turn off "Screen Time > Screen Distance". I did so and that enabled the Attention Awareness switch working again. However if I turn it ON, it does not work!
Alarms used to mute when I had the phone close to me or looking at the screen. Not any more.

I have iOS 17.5.1. Has this update broken the Attention Awareness feature?

Working fine for me.

I don't personally use Screen Time, so likely some other setting in there.

Hmm... I don't use Screen Time either, but in iOS 17.5.1 on my 14PM, I don't see a switch to turn off Screen Time. I'm sure there used to be a toggle to turn it off. (Screen Distance also seems to be ON by default!)
