Importance of Maintaining Your Organization’s Personnel List

Organizations are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to Florida SHOTS. Local Organization Administrators (LOA) need to routinely review the Personnel List to ensure only those users that need access remain active. Any user that is no longer with the organization must have their access terminated upon separation. Users who are no longer part of the organization and are not terminated are still able to access protected information and are able to add or edit information in Florida SHOTS. In addition, in an effort to continue to maintain a secured site, organizations will have an annual User Confirmation period. LOAs will have a 90-day period to confirm all the users that need to continue with access. You can find step-by-step instructions on maintaining your Personnel List and complete the user confirmation HERE. Also available in Spanish.

Florida SHOTS User Confirmation

Starting in June, every enrolled organization will be required to confirm users in Florida SHOTS. Local Org Administrators (LOAs) must participate in this process to ensure personnel records are maintained and only authorized users have access to Florida SHOTS. Organizations will be assigned a 90-day period where its LOA must confirm current users in their assigned service sites who need access to Florida SHOTS. At the end of this period, any users not confirmed will no longer have access. Questions? We've got you covered! See step-by-step instructions in our short video or this quick guide.
