Maybe it's because the country of Georgia and the Caucasus sits between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, but too few travellers pay it much attention. Those who do though are in for a real treat, as Georgia offers up remarkable history, tantalising food, and gorgeous nature that will immediately have you coming back for more.
It's funny how you can be incredibly eager to visit a place and yet know very little about the place at the same time. That's how I was with the country of Georgia. For years I'd been determined to visit Georgia and the Caucasus region, without any real justification as to why.
