As a Northwestern professor and a rabid Wildcat fan for many years, I love this cup. It takes me back through the years. I think of all the NU players I rooted for when I drink from it. I never in a million years would have thought anyone would make a cup like this but I am so glad I found it. Do you have one for NU Football? GO CATS!!

It sits on my desk at home and I love looking at it. It transports me to 1969 when I was so excited about the Mets. It is a wonderful link to my youth.

Love this beautiful memory of my recent trip. I was unable to get such a beautiful shot of the bridge and photographer, Aaron captured my memory. Love the mug (I collect them), but was unable to bring one home! Thx, Aaron!

I'm from Newport, RI and my husband and I were married in the hotel visible in this shot back in 1987. It's on a small island called Goat Island just off the coast. Newport Bridge in the background. Thrilled with my purchase...have my morning coffee in it daily!

Original Title: Overalls Circus Parade
Photographer: Bain News
Location: 787 8th Ave, NY
I have to admit, other than cartoons, I never saw the circus come to town. The fun of seeing large animals walk by you. The sheer size of the animal, the smells, it must have been fun. And while it always seems like the circus parade was an old fashioned thing to see, they only recently stopped doing it.
Everyone thinks that the reason they do it is, to advertise the show. But in reality its how they transport the circus from the train yard, to the fair grounds. But in recent years the circus lost favorability due to how treated the animals. In more recent years, the circus would ask the city to keep it quiet, so they can move the circus without a lot of commotion. But people still found out and ran out to see it in the early hours of the morning.
When the elephants were banned from circus use, it destroyed the circus. Peo...
My name is Mike Savad, I create one of a kind images. Photo realistic, is what people think of first. I specialize in job themes, such as Pharmacist, Doctor, Firemen, Lawyer, etc. Steampunk is another favorite. I'm certain you will find something that you will like. My art is inspired by Norman Rockwell and Paintings from the time of the Renaissance. Be sure to visit my Scene in Color section. I expertly restore and colorize black and white images. See the past come alive with color. Each image is painstakingly cleaned and repaired, colors are researched and shaded in. Images are designed to coordinate with the rest of my collection. The past was far more colorful than you would have imagined. Want something fun to do? Sometimes I hide...
