As part of this collaboration, we have focused on supporting wetland restoration in Finland in recent years. A few weeks ago, as a part of our biodiversity work, we rolled up our sleeves and joined Espoon kaupunki - Esbo stad - City of Espoo community efforts to control the spread of plants classified as harmful invasive species, lupines. 🌿 Despite their often beautiful appearance, these plants contribute to the loss of biodiversity in Finnish nature by displacing the original native plants. Therefore, we organized a voluntary work day and spent an afternoon weeding out the lupines that had spread to the fields next to our factory, and scattered seeds of pollinator-friendly wildflowers in their place. 🌱🌼 #espoonkaupunki #espoocity #lupines #lumene #wildflowers #biodiversity

LUMENE 💚 Bower! Great news: we are starting a collaboration with the Swedish recycling app Bower in Finland ✔ LUMENE’s packaging can now be recycled at recycling points using your mobile phone. The app also rewards recycling efforts with points or money to withdraw to own bank account, donate to a charity, or get discounts on future purchases. “To become fully circular throughout the product lifecycle, we need to have consumers on board.
