Tosh Mazzone Joins Crops Team in Franklin County

The Field and Forage Crops Team welcomes new Extension Educator, Tosh Mazzone, of Franklin County.

Tosh Mazzone has joined Penn State Extension as the Field and Forage Crops Educator based at the Franklin County Office.

Tosh grew up in Franklin County helping with the family woodworking business; and obtained an A.S. in Forest Technology from Penn State Mont Alto, as well as a B.S. and M.S. in Plant Science from Penn State University.

Before joining Franklin County, Tosh worked with Penn State Extension-Research Weed Science Team, conducting applied research and extension in field and forage crop production, precision ag, organic rotational no-till, and pest management. In addition, he worked in environmental consulting, construction, and restoration for industry across North and South Carolina as a Project Manager and Estimator.
