New Girl channels People v. O.J. Simpson in exclusive clip

The New Girl gang is still celebrating Halloween when Jess (Zooey Deschanel) springs an announcement on them: As soon as it becomes Nov. 1, it’s Christmas season. And her friends — all dressed up as those involved in the O.J. Simpson murder trial as portrayed by actors on this year’s The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story — are not happy about it.

“We were all thinking, and we were all on the same page,” Winston (Lamorne Morris) offers. “We were thinking that maybe we don’t do Christmas this year?”

Jess responds calmly at first. “You know, that would be a great seminar topic,” she says. Then she screams, “In a school for demons!”
