New Girl clip: Schmidt gives Nick tough love

Schmidt (Max Greenfield) read Nick’s (Jake Johnson) book, and he loves it — enough that he doesn’t have any notes for its author, something that bothers Nick to no end. So in an exclusive clip from the upcoming episode of New Girl, Nick demands some feedback.

“Here’s a note,” an irritated, dramatic-as-ever Schmidt responds. “Stop cutting yourself off at the knees like a selfish coward.”

We’re getting somewhere! But it’s still not about the writing, so Nick pushes his bud for more. It doesn’t work.
