Financial Controller

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the financial reporting process for the group, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of monthly financial statements, compliance with financial regulations, and provision of insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Consolidation: Lead the monthly consolidation of financial statements for the group, ensuring all subsidiaries' financials are accurately combined.
• Financial Statements: Prepare and review consolidated income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis on consolidated financial results to identify significant deviations from budgets and forecasts, providing explanations and actionable insights.
• Reporting Packages: Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting to ensure data integrity and prevent errors or fraud.
• Systems Management: Oversee the financial reporting systems and software used for consolidation, ensuring they are effectively utilized and maintained.
• Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial reporting and consolidation, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• +5 years experience in the Finance area, ideally in a group of companies or a multicountry scope.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish
