HBX Group has observed a growing interest and bookings from hotels that adopt sustainable practices. Currently, we have 40,000+ properties certified as sustainable in our portfolio, and between 2022 and 2023, we reported a 30% increase in bookings for sustainable hotels within 12 months.   An effective way for properties to communicate their sustainable initiatives is to become certified with eco certifications. At Hotelbeds, we suggest two in particular. Read our latest guide to the best certifications in the industry and how to obtain them: https://lnkd.in/eN2ButRA

Yesterday, HBX Group shared our Sustainability Report which includes initiatives developed to date and the key elements of our ESG strategy for the next three years. One of those initiatives is the HBX Group Think Big Project, our corporate volunteering programme which enables the development of sustainable micro-destinations in rural areas, empowering these communities and encouraging their economic development while protecting natural and cultural resources. The pilot project was launched in Quintana Roo, Mexico, at the beginning of 2024, and collaborates with the "Caminos Sagrados" area. Over two weeks, ten employees of the group worked with Mayan cooperatives to enhance their tourism products, achieve greater digitalisation, and ensure the application of sustainability criteria. https://lnkd.in/g8xMpYws Take a look:

HBX Group, a top player in B2B Travel Tech, decided to make a big move. They shifted from point solutions to a full platform, aiming to boost their revenue significantly. The challenge? Figuring out how to simplify selling and create a shared vision across different products and services. ▶ Enter Salesloft. Mark Antipof, HBX Group’s Chief Growth Officer, brought in Salesloft to do a full business value assessment. They outlined the steps to hit HBX Group’s big growth targets. During a pilot program, the exec team saw firsthand how Salesloft could build momentum and drive outcomes. The success led to a dramatic expansion, as HBX Group evolved from an initial 20 Salesloft licenses to a whopping 500, deploying the platform across their entire revenue organization. Andrew Boocock, HBX Group Head of Sales for APAC, shares: "Prior to Salesloft, the ability to track more effectively how we're targeting new clients and the progress we're making... was literally managed in an Excel file and it was just impossible keeping track of it. Now we have reporting, standardized processes... and clear visibility of where we are today." Salesloft: Changing the status quo, driving innovation, and aiding global transformation, one champion at a time. 🌐 https://lnkd.in/eUjhUETa #Salesloft #BusinessTransformation #RevenueGrowth #HBXGroup

Today HBX Group are proud to share our Sustainability Report, which includes initiatives developed to date and the key elements of our ESG strategy for the next three years, focusing on the positive impact potential of the tourism industry.   Over 75 actions are outlined in the plan, as well as an established framework for work and result reporting that considers multiple current regulations and certifications:   - HBX Group has recently joined the United Nations Global Compact, which sets out the 10 principles guiding companies to adopt sustainable and socially responsible policies. - We have initiated a three-year plan to align reporting with the new European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which analyses the impact of the company and its entire value chain and is based on the identification of over 4,000 KPI's. - HBX Group places a high value on collaboration in the tourism industry and has implemented a Sustainable Hotels Programme that aims to highlight the most environmentally, socially, and community-respectful actors. It already includes over 40,000 properties with official sustainability certifications. Thanks to awareness-raising actions carried out in collaboration with multiple partners, the number of hotels with a no-single-use plastics policy has increased from 500 to 5,000 in just one year. - The HBX Group Think Big corporate volunteering programme draws on the human factor as a driving force for initiatives, and enables the development of sustainable micro-destinations in rural areas. - The report also shows the growing commitment of employees, who have undertaken 40% more volunteer hours compared to the previous year, including reforestation efforts, which have resulted in the planting of over 12,000 trees in areas such as Mallorca, Brazil, and Thailand up to 2023.   Elena Perez Cabello, Chief Human Resources & ESG Officer, explains: “We want to leverage our position as leaders in tourism technology to promote sustainable growth and contribute to real, positive change. Our action plan includes training and promotion initiatives, the adoption of increasingly ambitious certifications and reports, as well as strategic partnerships with our associates. Only through an efficient and collaborative plan will we be able to ensure that the travel industry has an increasingly positive impact on society.”   Read the full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/g8xMpYws Read the full HBX Group ESG Report here: https://lnkd.in/gCbWhABp

Just returned from an incredible week at MarketHub Europe in the beautiful city of #Istanbul! The event was packed with insightful sessions and an impressive lineup of speakers. My personal hightlights were; Our very own Stephanie Waismann, Chief Product Officier at HBX Group, who shared fascinating details about Product evolution, showcasing how innovation and adaptation drive success. Stephen Attenborough, former Chief Customer Office at Virgin Galactic, captivated us with his journey to the final frontier and the exciting future of commercial space travel. His experience really was out of this world! Lastly, Ami V. from National Geographic delivered an amazing and very emotional keynote address on how empathy leads to impact. Hers stories visibly moved the audience and highlighted the power of compassion in driving change. I felt really grateful for the opportunity to attend and be inspired by people like Ami, who really do life changing purpose driven work. #MHub2024 #MarketHub #Innovation #Spacetravel #Inspiration
