This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bill C31, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.johnco.com/nativel/bill_c31.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. re: Algonquin article changes and your statement of 'vandalism'

[edit]

The changes you made to the Algonquin article was not a change from an editor that was a vandal. I am wolastoqiyik, and a member of this language branch. The scope of this article in places was narrow, and failed to represent Maliseet as Algonquin people in places, and this was found after reviewing what defined a Metis-- of which was the term Algonquin, so if another definition is to be derived from this one, then this one should reflect an accurate portrayal of what is and what is not Algonquin. Anishnabek people are one of the many people are either the original or Algonquin derivative speakers according to language history. It was for this reason that I changed the article. I also added information that was more representative of the current defintion of the Algonquin people such as added Indigenous peoples and a reference to an article for the same. This was not vandalism, it was a contribution, and what you are doing is wasting time that was spent on something that was constructive by deleting it, at least from my perspective. If you have anything constructive to share please do so. thank you WM324AHI (talk) 04:53, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My sincerest apologies. I have reviewed the edit in question and I cannot figure why on Earth I would have tagged that edit as vandalism. I have removed the warning and agree that this is certainly not vandalism. I wish you the best of luck with your worl in improving these articles and offer my sincere apologies for my error. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Pie Magazine has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki (talk) 02:57, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pie magazine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you.
