Name of Template

I've reverted an edit that changed the template's name to Québécois cuisine, citing that French Canadian is an outdated term. While its of course not, I also do recognize that perhaps some people would like to rename it that way to make the template specific to only Quebec. I'm fine with that. The problem I see, is that the template has a section on Acadian cuisine, and that's Maritimes-specific. Ploye is eaten in the Madawaska region of New Brunswick, for example, while râpure is eaten in southwestern Nova Scotia. So, if we want to change the name to Québécois cuisine, I say we remove the Acadian foods section. 7288P (talk) 19:21, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"French Canadian" is an offensive archaic outdated exonym reducing us to being french people intrisically tied and under the shadow of Canada and France, with no distinct culture or history. There is a reason why Québécois and Acadians stopped reffering to each other as such in the 1960s. If we remove the Acadian elements, could we please change its name to Québécois cuisine?166.62.226.9 (talk) 21:47, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
