Proposal to rename article

[edit]

I am proposing to rename this article from "Woman's National Loyal League" to "Women's Loyal National League" to match the documentation in the recently added "Name variations" section of the article. Particularly relevant is the fact that Ann Gordon's The Selected Papers of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, which is considered by historians in this field as the authoritative source for such details, calls it the "Women's Loyal National League". I understand that articles linking to this one will need to be modified also, as will category names both here and in the Wikipedia Commons. Obviously this is not a step to be taken lightly, so I will wait for a while to see if there are any objections.Bilpen (talk) 01:49, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Anybody who supports their argument with Ann D. Gordon will not be opposed by me! I think moving the article back to where it was is a reasonable proposal. Binksternet (talk) 02:30, 3 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
