Swiss Federal ConstitutionConstitution of Switzerland Common name. Yes, Switzerland is a federal republic and each canton has its own constitution too. The same situation is in the US, where there is United States Federal Constitution and each state has its own constitution. But the articles are titled in the case of the US as Constitution of the United States and State constitution (United States). Therefore in the case of Switzerland this article should have a name Constitution of Switzerland and articles about the cantonal constitutions - cantonal constitution.
