Didn't Jonathan Frakes host a single episode show on Fox called "Alien Autopsy" once? Baronkj39 06:16, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes he did, that was back in 1995. Check out his self-filmography here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000408/

Frakes appeared on a HTH episode - he's trying to have his suspected 'insane' father commited, so as to take control of the family buisness. His father dresses as King Arthur. Wish I had the source. It could be added to this article. GoodDay 17:43, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Columbo

[edit]

I'm sure I've seen JF in an episode of Columbo, however I've been unable to find a citation. Can anyone help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Impeachable (talkcontribs) 23:45, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NCIS: LA appearance

[edit]

Johnathan Frakes will direct and guest star in tonight's NCIS LA episode. Someone please add that, I don't know the name of it and want it trusted to a professional and experienced person.-Pikdude (who is too lazy to sign in) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.184.245.166 (talk) 00:53, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Quincy, M.D.

[edit]

Jonathan Frakes appeared as a young heart surgeon in an episode of Quincy, M.D. where a prominent heart surgeon is accused of doing ghost surgery. I'm sorry I don't have the name of the episode. This may be what a previous poster was thinking of when they said that Frakes maybe appeared in an episode of Columbo.150.203.110.27 (talk) 09:52, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jonathan Frakes episode was in A Ghost Of A Chance (S8 Ep2 uncredited), it was shown on YourTV at 10:00 this morning 1701Will (talk) 10:57, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Correction uncredited at the end - I see he was listed as surgeon to be accurate he was a junior surgical resident I believe 1701Will (talk) 11:06, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Streets of San Francisco

[edit]

I definitely saw him on a rerun of The Streets of San Francisco, which predates his listed earliest TV appearance, and was - almost certainly - not credited! TINYMARK 15:50, 14 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Harvard

[edit]

Frakes himself reports just after timestamp 30:13 of The Shuttlepod Show podcast from April 30, 2023 (Ep.2.19: "The Riker Maneuver" with Jonathan Frakes) on YouTube (which I apparently cannot link to in this comment without causing a blacklist error, but which anyone can go search for and find) that he never went to Harvard and does not have an MFA, only that he worked for the Loeb Drama Center, which is or was run by Harvard at the time.

The citation for this claim links to a secondary source story on a website called grunge.com, which itself references an apparently unauthorized biography of the TNG cast from 1997 by Adam Shrager called The Finest Crew in the Fleet that makes the claim that Frakes got an MFA from Harvard. I think we'd take Frakes's word over the claim from an unauthorized biography, so I'm removing the claim from the body of the article and from the bio sidebar. (Sorry Jonathan... hopefully your innumerable career successes speak for themselves by now!) Lekoman (talk) 21:05, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched that podcast and came to see if it was still here 136.50.109.246 (talk) 01:41, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And it is still here! Jbracken77 (talk) 11:45, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Debralee Scott

Her wiki page says she was married to Frakes but Frakes page is silent on the matter TBILLT (talk) 02:30, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
