there is an article at amazon askville about fusulinids

[edit]

its called why are fusulinids important or are they. online it says these were monocytes. They are possibly a large part of the volume of organic material that created middle eastern oil. So if a person could think of a way to find where the fusilinids lived en masse, they know where to find large amounts of oil — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.185.2.34 (talk) 23:07, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Order Fusulinida

[edit]

The name of the order is Fusulinida, ending with an "a", not Fusulinid. Fusulinid is a common or vernacular term, not a taxon, which applies more specifically to the family Fusulinidae or superfamily and less so to the entire order. Fusulinida is properly given as once of the orders in the taxobox in the Foraminifera page. So how about a correction. J.H.McDonnell (talk) 00:26, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
