Class III?

[edit]

Do Mexican railways adopt the US Railroad Classes standards on their railroads? Ctempire (talk) 19:18, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Possibly a redundant term since a US Authority - the Surface Transportation Board - classifies US Railroads. On the other hand, an addition to history updates the status of this railroad as it has secured a 99-year lease with the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (SDMTS) to rehabilitate and operate an additional 112.75 km (70.06 miles) of track in the United States between Campo, California and Plaster City, California. This may then earn them a US classification. Whiteguru (talk) 04:06, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Style could use improvement

[edit]

It appears that much of the text was written by non-native speaker/writer of English, and therefore could be further improved with style editing by a native speaker/writer. (No disrespect is meant towards the original writer, who almost certainly supplied some useful info, to the best of her/his ability.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Acwilson9 (talkcontribs) 04:59, 6 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
