"Pedestrian bridge" my ass!

[edit]

This article, other sources online, and the bridge's page on ca.gov all seem to be pretty unanimous that the Antioch Bridge allows bike and pedestrian traffic. So me and my buddy went there, with tripod and telephoto lens in tow, to have a nice walk and get some shots of surrounding landforms... I've climbed on top of some pretty sketchy things to take photos before, but this was completely out of pocket. I think there was about two feet of space between an active single-lane highway and the edge of the structure -- with no barrier whatsoever between car traffic and the space you were supposed to be traipsing across. I'm going to add an image to the article of what we found -- I think "pedestrian bridge" ought to be taken out of the lead, and mentioned with qualification if at all in the body. jp×g 02:29, 5 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
