With 20 pioneering tools and comprehensive reports, RI-URBANS enhances air quality assessments, improves management practices, and safeguards public health across Europe.
Funding opportunity
In September, the first cohort of 40 cities were selected to join the NetZeroCities Twinning Learning Programme. They embarked on an important journey of shared learning, best practices, and much more in order to to replicate new approaches to climate neutrality. The next Call for Twin Cities is due to open in early spring 2024.

Two of the papers prepared for the JRC science for policy ecosystem workshop series have now been published. The first paper, prepared by Stella Ladi, Dimitra Panagiotatou, and Angelos Angelou, focuses on the “The Greek ecosystem of science for policy” while the second one, written by Vítor Corado Simões, provides an analysis of “Science for policy in Portugal”.
