Drexel University Retains Designation as National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Until 2029
Drexel University has received a successful renewal of its designation as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the National Security Agency (NSA). This renewal extends Drexel's esteemed, 20-year designation through 2029.

Following a national search, Neville Vakharia, PhD, has been appointed Dean of the Pennoni Honors College, effective September 1, 2024.
Embracing the Future
Last week marked the official merger of Drexel University and Salus University, providing the opportunity to warmly welcome Salus students, faculty and professional staff into the Drexel family. At the same time that our two institutions formally came together, we also received the news that President Fry will be leaving Drexel to join Temple University.
Emily A. Roper Appointed Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions
Following a national search, Emily Roper, PhD, has been appointed dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions, effective September 1, 2024.
