This past weekend, our Offbeat Travel Dominican Republic team, along with their families, took the opportunity to participate in a heartwarming day of service. We filled a 30-passenger bus with our enthusiastic team, supportive partners, excited kids, and even our co-founder's mother-in-law for a fulfilling day dedicated to the construction of a home and the cementing of a floor in Monte Coca. The experience was incredibly rewarding, as we all came together to make a tangible difference in the community. We worked side by side, mixing cement, making rebar columns, and witnessing the transformation of the project. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the future homeowners and feeling the camaraderie among our team was truly inspiring. We are deeply thankful to have a community so willing to give and support each other. Check out the before and after photos to see the incredible progress we made. 🌎 Community Impact Update from Costa Rica! 🏫 Our travelers have been making a difference at the primary school in San José de Pinilla. For the past two years, we've partnered with the school to maintain and improve its infrastructure. Our long-term goals include replacing the entire floor and giving the school a fresh paint job, among other enhancements.
