The large base chemicals industry has long lagged behind on the global decarbonization agenda, but we are thrilled to see this beginning to change. Our CO2-derived acetic acid can replace fossil-based building blocks in key materials such as plastics, paints, coatings, and films. Acetic Acid is a vital component in numerous global value chains including plastics, clothing, coatings, and more. We have just announced the launch of our groundbreaking production site for CO₂-based chemicals alongside our $10 million seed round from leading Silicon Valley investors ACME Capital and GV (Google Ventures) as well as Atlantic Labs from Berlin. What if instead of treating CO₂ as waste, we could use it and turn it into things that are valuable?
