Again & HELM AG have been nominated for the Innovation Award "Renewable Material of the Year 2024" at this year's Renewable Material Conference in Cologne! We are honored and excited to participate in the run-up to the award alongside other groundbreaking projects. We look forward to presenting our solution and connecting with partners across the entire value chain of the renewable carbon industry. The large base chemicals industry has long lagged behind on the global decarbonization agenda, but we are thrilled to see this beginning to change. Our CO2-derived acetic acid can replace fossil-based building blocks in key materials such as plastics, paints, coatings, and films. We believe our partnership will be the crucial step needed to rapidly commercialize this solution and start significantly reducing CO2 emissions. https://lnkd.in/gHQHQVf
Om os
At Again we put CO₂ to good use. By combining millennia-old bacteria with cutting-edge technology, we turn CO₂ into carbon negative chemicals. Our novel biomanufacturing process collects the unavoidable carbon outputs from industry and reuses them to manufacture emission-free chemicals - a win-win for everyone. We’re leading the positive shift. Showing people that our world does have a future. If you think we’re doomed – think Again.

📣 We are #hiring "Our bacteria currently eats about a ton of CO2 per day" 🤓 If telling the story of how a tiny bug turns industrial emissions into valuable products sound like something you'd love to do, today is your lucky day! We are looking for an unreasonably ambitious ⚡️ PR & Communications Manager ⚡️ to help build our communications strategy and shout from the rooftops about all the cool things we do (hint: put CO₂ to good use and decarbonise chemical value chains) https://lnkd.in/dx8emEhv

We are excited to announce our €1.4m grant project with the Danish Technological Institute, in conjunction with DTU - Technical University of Denmark Pond Biomaterials to develop a novel process to convert CO2 into biodegradable plastic polymers, paving the way for a cleaner industrial value chain with CO2-made materials. Learn more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/d3bxmdF6
#ccus #ccu #co2 #plast #dkgreen

Again x HELM AG We are thrilled to announce our partnership with HELM for the distribution and sale of our first product: CO2-derived Acetic Acid! Over the next 10 years, Again and HELM will collaborate to sell 50,000 tons per year of our CO2-derived Acetic Acid from Again's production facilities. Acetic Acid is a vital component in numerous global value chains including plastics, clothing, coatings, and more. Through Again's technology and HELM's 120-years of expertise and global networks, end users will now have a unique opportunity to decarbonize their value chains. We can't wait to embark on this exciting commercialization journey with HELM and, most importantly, capture and convert even more CO2 into valuable products in the future. https://lnkd.in/d2WiBwFe #decarbonization #ccu #climatetech #biomanufacturing #greenchemicals

We have just announced the launch of our groundbreaking production site for CO₂-based chemicals alongside our $10 million seed round from leading Silicon Valley investors ACME Capital and GV (Google Ventures) as well as Atlantic Labs from Berlin. What if instead of treating CO₂ as waste, we could use it and turn it into things that are valuable? Covered by German business daily Handelsblatt by Klaus Stratmann on a full page in yesterdays print edition and by SynBioBeta, we are thrilled to finally tell our story to a broader audience. Watch this space for more exciting announcements in 2024 as we roll out our technology. Links to articles and press releases in the comments below. #climatechange #CCU #biotech

We are very happy to have joined CO2 Value Europe and look forward to working with Anastasios Perimenis, Tudy Bernier, Antonio La Mantia and the whole team. Again’s biomanufacturing process will play a key role in reusing CO2 to build sustainable industrial value chains, offering an affordable emission reduction option to businesses and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels.
VELKOMMEN To Our New Member Again! CO₂ Value Europe has recently welcomed Again - we put CO₂ to good use as a member of its dynamic and rapidly growing community, actively engaged in developing Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) technology across Europe. By combining natural gas-eating bacteria with cutting-edge technology, Again turns waste industrial CO₂ into emission-free chemicals. Their novel biomanufacturing process collects the unavoidable carbon outputs from industry and reuses them to manufacture emission-free chemicals. Again provides affordable and flexible carbon capture solutions. Its biomanufacturing process offers industrial partners carbon capture without CAPEX and OPEX for them. Our new member's chemical products are among the most essential feedstocks for the chemical industry, spanning from acetic acid, ethanol, and acetone to longer carbon molecules used in the production of essential materials such as plastics and fabrics. These products cater to significant-end markets, all of which currently contribute to high CO₂ emissions. Find more on our new member at https://rb.gy/mycixw.
