I have two questions to ask, basically if i sign out of my macbook will the apps i downloaded myself delete or will they just stay there? Secondly, my icloud photos say they are synced but they are completely different from what i have on my phone, i want to be able to sync my photos from my phone to my macbook.

Turn on iCloud on both devices so your photo's sync between devices.
If you turn you Mac off just remember the password that you created to log back in when you turn your computer back on and you should find everything as you left it before you turned it off.

They will stay there. If they are apps you go through the App Store, you won't be able to update them until you sign back in.

Are you using the same Apple ID on both devices?
