AppleTV tvOS Log In issue with NordVPN

A few days ago my NordVPN logged me out without notice and since will not let me sign in - when I press log on there is an error notice (see video).

Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, putting my AppleTV to factory settings, different iCloud account, different network settings (ethernet and Wifi) and still no luck. I am not sure if it is an Apple issue or developer issue. Anyone facing this same issue with NordVPN??

I have the same issue, bought and paid for NordVPN. But cant login on apple tv. It just says sorry an unexpected error on our end. Nord is also not responding to query raised with then

This one works for me. Problem solved! ✅


Go into Settings > General.

Select Network.

Select Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on your Apple TV internet setup. (Here we have chosen Ethernet. If you are using Wi-Fi, select Wi-Fi and enter your wireless network credentials.)

Select Configure DNS.

Select Manual.

Enter the DNS address. These are our DNS servers: 103.86.96.100 or 103.86.99.100.


Afterwards, you MUST restart your Apple TV for the DNS change to take place.

Go into Settings > General > Restart.

Just got a reply from Nord and they provided this fix and it worked.


Please change the DNS settings you are using to our DNS servers:
